COMMANDER, the German based extreme metal band, has announced that guitarist Steffen Augstein will sit out the group's next 2 shows. Filling in for Steffen will be FESTERING SALIVA guitarist Christoph Klatt.

COMMANDER also have posted four new songs (Trust in Man, The Enemies We Create, New Age of Treason, Ira) on their MySpace page. The tracks comes off the group's new album, "The Enemies We Create", released on March 28 via Bad Land Records/Twilight Vertrieb.

A quite eventful first half of the year has passed. We have released our debut album "World's Destructuve Domination" and played some festivals, a little three-day-tour and several single gigs with - among others - Obituary as a shining highlight.
We want to thank all the bands, partners, friends and enemies for the beautiful time we had and we are looking forward to turn over a new leaf in fall, somewhere in time.
Unfortunately, we also had to suffer some personal changes.
What has been rumoured for a long time, we can now confirm. Commander and bassplayer Birgit Öllbrunner have parted company due to increased domicile distance. To prevent any further rumours from spreading: There are no and there will be no ill-feelings.
Therefore we want to introduce to you our new bassplayer Tobias Brandl (Bullfuck), who from now on will maltreat the thick strings as a permanent member.
Well, now let us enjoy the summer so that we may raze the lands to the ground refreshed in fall.
